I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Head of the Employee Psychology & Assessment Lab at UTEP. My training and research interests are in employee psychology, measurement, and quantitative psychology.
In my (nonexistent) free time, I enjoy watching and making indie films, listening to music and toying with various musical instruments, sailing, scuba diving, spearfishing, and hanging out with friends.

Undergraduate Students
The Lab will be accepting one undergraduate research assistant to start in the Fall 2025.
A genuine interest in psychology of work and/or psychological measurement, a GPA greater than 3.0, and an intention to go to graduate school is required. Experience in using statistical software and online survey platforms, and strong writing skills are considered a plus. Email Dr. Pavlov if interested.
